This policy explains what information Anokhi Ada ("we," "us," "our") collects from visitors and customers of this website, and how that information is used.
Information We Collect
When you make a purchase or book an appointment, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your shipping address
- Payment information (processed directly by Square — see below)
- Any details you include in an appointment request or inquiry
If you sign up to hear about new arrivals, we collect the information described under New Arrivals Signup below.
How Payments Are Processed
All payments on this site are processed by Square, Inc. We do not receive, see, or store your full card number at any time — Square handles that directly. Please refer to Square's own Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.
How We Use Your Information
- To fulfill and ship your order
- To contact you about your order or appointment
- To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form
- To send occasional updates, if you've opted in, about new arrivals or promotions
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
New Arrivals Signup
If you ask us to tell you when new stock arrives, we collect your email address. If you also tick the box asking us to message you on WhatsApp, we collect the mobile number you give us and a record that you ticked it. Where you signed up after filtering the collections to a particular size, we also record that size, so that we can write to you about pieces you can actually wear rather than about everything that comes in.
If you tick the WhatsApp box, we also record the date and time you ticked it and the internet (IP) address you ticked it from. This is kept as evidence that the consent was given, so that we can show when and how you agreed if it is ever questioned. It is not used to identify you, to work out where you live, or for any other purpose.
We use these details only to tell you about new pieces, and to answer you if you reply. We do not sell them, rent them, or share them with anyone else for their own marketing.
Every email we send carries a link to stop receiving them. If you asked for WhatsApp messages, you can stop those at any time by replying STOP, or by writing to us at the address below, and we will remove your number. Asking us to stop WhatsApp messages does not stop the emails, and asking us to stop the emails does not stop the WhatsApp messages — please tell us if you would like both to stop.
We keep these details until you ask us to stop, after which we remove them, except where we need to keep a record that you asked us to stop.
Post-Purchase Survey
After you place an order, Google may offer you the chance to receive a short email survey about your experience, through its Google Customer Reviews programme. Nothing is sent unless you tick the box to accept it.
If you do accept, we pass Google your email address, an order reference and the estimated delivery date, so that it can send the survey at roughly the right time. Google collects your answers directly — we do not see individual responses, only an overall rating once enough have been gathered. Google's Privacy Policy covers what it does with them.
Declining changes nothing about your order.
Spam Protection
Our checkout, enquiry form, promotional code check and new arrivals signup are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which distinguishes real visitors from automated ones. Using it means Google receives information about your visit for that purpose, and Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that check.
Information Sharing
We share information only as needed to complete a transaction — for example, with Square to process payment, or with a shipping carrier to deliver your order. We do not share your information for advertising or marketing purposes without your consent.
Data Retention
We retain order and customer information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, comply with tax and business record-keeping obligations, and resolve any disputes.
Your Rights
You may request to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act).
Cookies and Analytics
This site uses basic cookies to remember your shopping bag while you browse.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and which pieces draw interest. This sets cookies and sends Google information about your visit, including a shortened version of your IP address. We use it to improve the site, not to build a profile of you as an individual. Google's Privacy Policy explains how they handle that data, and you can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on.
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising tracking, and we do not run advertising on this site.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
